Psyllium husk powder 100g
Psyllium comes from the husk of plantain seed. It is an excellent source of fibre and is well suited for a versatile diet to improve digestion. Recommended daily intake 1-2 teaspoons.
For gluten-free baking, 1-2 tablespoons of psyllium per 1 liter of liquid.
With yeast dough: 1-2 tablespoons of psyllium per 1 l of liquid. Let the powder swell for 10 minutes before adding the flour. When using psyllium, the amount of flour needed can be reduced by 10-30 %. In doughs without liquid (e.g. cookie dough), add the psyllium in the flour. 1 teaspoon of psyllium per 3 dl of flour.
May contain traces of peanuts, other nuts, soy and sesame seeds.
